At Sweetbriar Gardens we take a hands-on approach. All aspects of each job is meticulously crafted and reviewed to ensure the high standards we stake our name on. We are a family-owned and operated business with roots in the Macon, Georgia area. We take pride in the relationships we form with our customers and the work we do for them.
Quality always reigns over quantity. Our goal is not to turn out as many projects as we can, or amass as many clients as we can. Rather we look for clients that value high standards, reliability and hard work ethic. We take on a limited number of clients and projects each year. This ensures that we can keep quality at a level that meets and exceeds customers expectations.
Meet the Founder
Ryan Rigsby, Owner & Operator
Ryan grew up in Macon, Georgia. While earning on his education Ryan worked in the landscape and golf course industries. He has always had a strong passion for the beautification of outdoor spaces. This passion led him to seek a higher education in the field.
After earning his degree in Golf Course & Turfgrass Management, he worked in the golf course industry at several top-ranked courses in Georgia and South Carolina. During his tenure in the golf course industry he was able to gain experience in golf course reconstruction and preparing for an LPGA tournament. He also honed his eye for design and project management for landscape and irrigation design and installation.
In 2011 Ryan and his wife Kris moved back home to Macon, Georgia to grow their family. It was then that he parlayed his 20-year golf course and landscape experience into an entrepreneurial dream. Ryan started Sweetbriar Gardens Landscape Design & Maintenance, and has worked over the last nine years to grow the company to a top-rated Macon, GA landscape company.
